March 19, 2022

Muuuse-um Trips!: An Art Activity for Kids

Duru Bebekoğlu, a Fine Art student at Central Saint Martins, will curate museum trips for groups of 6-8 kids aged between 5-12. The groups will visit a museum in London (The National Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and Tate Modern) each Saturday for a duration of 4 weeks and learn about a variety of new and exciting subjects.

The National Gallery visit will focus on Impressionism. We will be taking a look at the various impressive paintings that fill the halls of the gallery. The children will be expected to not only look at the painting, but also at the frames of classical paintings and learn about how they add onto and complement the artworks. The focus will especially be on the impressionists where we will use pastels to understand the different methods the artists were using their brushes as to recreate their atmosphere and surroundings.

Muuuse-um Trips are perfect for curious young minds with an interest in art, learning and creativity!

We will be providing all the materials.
