Muuuse-um Trips!: An Art Activity for Kids

Duru Bebekoğlu, a Fine Art student at Central Saint Martins, will curate museum trips for groups of 6-8 kids aged between 5-12. The groups will visit a museum in London (The National Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and Tate Modern) each Saturday for a duration of 4 weeks and learn about a variety of new and exciting subjects.

The first museum the groups will be visiting during this course is Natural History Museum on the 5th of March, Saturday. There will be four time slots available, which will be subject to the interest of at least six participants. During their first week, children will learn about fractal forms and documenting scientific knowledge through art as they observe and be inspired by how science, math and art relate to one another. They will investigate natural forms and patterns and learn how they interrelate art and science.
